0.5 seconds per translation and 108 languages
The Krakow-based company's latest product is the only one on the electronic translator market with a 5-inch touchscreen and digital keyboard, which allows text to be entered both by voice and manually. Thanks to the use of machine translation systems, it provides very accurate, instant - 0.5 second translation, at a 96% accuracy. The photo translator used in the V4 allows translation from newspapers, boards and all kinds of printed matter - just a photo is enough for the user to read it in his native language within seconds. It is worth noting that this feature supports as many as 108 languages. Photo translation comes in handy when you need to translate documents at the airport or menus at a restaurant. The translated text can be emailed to any recipient.
Vasco Electronics's device, is first and foremost a simultaneous voice translator useful when you don't know the language or your interlocutor doesn't. Thanks to it you can talk in 76 languages. It will help us quickly communicate in a cab, hotel, during social and business meetings, as well as in emergency, unusual situations.
It is worth noting that all translators have unlimited and free Internet access in almost 200 countries around the world, and their use does not require access to WiFi. This functionality is especially valuable outside the European Union countries, where using data transmission on vacation or business trips is expensive.
Knowledge of languages is important, but sometimes you need to communicate in foreign language and that time and quality of conversation matter. The electronic translator comes in handy in emergency situations, medical assistance, but in social situations it helps break down barriers," says Maciej Góralski, CEO of Vasco Electronics. - You don't need to install any applications, buy a SIM card or configure Wi-Fi networks to make the device work. Its easy and intuitive operation will appeal even to people who are not enthusiasts of technological novelties.
Speak like a local
The quality of the translation of Vasco devices is controlled by a team of experts, including native speakers, who take into account phrases, idioms and colloquial expressions, as well as taking into account cultural aspects of the language. Their work is designed to convey all the subtleties and nuances of a particular variety with the appropriate pronunciation specific to the country.
The device uses 10 translation engines, and an algorithm created by Vasco Electronics' development team combines them into the best language pairs. Using, for example, French in Canada or Spanish in South America, or English in the United States, users are assured of the best possible translation taking into account the local pronunciation.
MultiTalk, noise reduction, shock and water resistance
The new V4 also retains the tried-and-true solutions that the manufacturer used in its previous translators. The MultiTalk application, which allows us to talk with up to 100 people speaking different languages, for example, during group chats, is a useful solution for international business meetings, as well as for tour guides who deal with groups of people from different countries. If necessary, conversations can be recorded, translated transcripts can be generated and sent via e-mail. The manufacturer also took care of better noise reduction, which allows users to focus on the topic of conversation, and with a more powerful speaker, it guarantees clearer audibility and can be used in crowded places or on a busy street. Not insignificant, especially for travelers, are the additional features incorporated in the new Vasco translator, including a flashlight and IP-64 protection class, which in practice means resistance to dust and rain and accidental splashing.
Break language barriers
Additional features of the new device include a text translator - this feature can be used to translate phrases or words, which is useful when preparing for a conversation. Texts can be typed in using the keyboard or initiated by voice. When we are satisfied with our level of knowledge of a foreign language, we can always start learning a new one. Vasco Translator V4 meets this goal and offers vocabulary learning in 28 languages, in addition to the most popular European ones, also in Arabic, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese or Malay.
